Miss Rwanda 2021 Bootcamp Sports Challenge

Saturday was both work and play for Miss Rwanda 2021 contestants, who are in the bootcamp at La Palisse Nyamata in Bugesera District, as they competed during the morning sports challenge.

The 20 girls were grouped into five groups of four where they competed in different circuits directed by the bootcamp sports instructor Gael Girumugisha while two judges, Liliane Iradukunda and Elsa Iradukunda made up the jury.

The first challenge was aerobics where the first groups competed, each losing one person at the end of the round.

The three remaining contestants competed again in the 2nd circuit which was about abdominal exercises. Again, each group lost a person, remaining with two competitors each.

The 3rd circuit involved the two remaining contestants in each group competing to fill a cup with water using a spoon.

Each group lost one person again, with the last five contestants standing competing in the final challenge, which was a sprint.

At the end of the sprint, Kayitare Isheja Morella (No.14) emerged the winner, beating the other four. The other four contestants in the top 5 were Uwase Phiona (No.35), Umutesi Leah (No.27), Kayirebwa Marie Paul (No.13) and Musana Teta Hense (No.18)

Congratulations to Kayitare Isheja Morella!!
