Nimwiza Meghan

Meghan was born in Rwanda in 1998 as the first of 3 daughters.  She completed her primary studies at Complex Scolaire les Petits Poussins and did her Ordinary level at Wellspring Academy and graduated her Advanced level in Information Technology at SOS Technical High School.
She later on joined Mount Kenya where she pursues her Bachelor’s in Business Management.

Meghan finds pleasure in reading, singing, traveling but most importantly spending quality time with her friends and family.

Growing up, Meghan has always believed in serving the community especially the underserved ones mostly children since they have always been close to her heart. She has worked with HOPE International in 2018 to help better the lives of men and women by freeing them from physical poverty through creating savings associations.

At the age of 20 she entered the pageant industry for the first time, where she was crowned Miss Rwanda 2019 and later that year she represented the country in Miss World where she was among the top 24 with Beauty with a Purpose project.

As an agriculture enthusiast with a business and IT oriented background; she aspires to own a business in agriculture and hopes to have a hand in the future of agricultural technology.  She has passionately worked on agriculture based projects during her reign and did other charitable works as well as serving the community in different areas.

She is currently working as the Communications Director and Spokesperson of Miss Rwanda.
